About Us
The Summus Mission
Summus Rehabilitation strives to provide compassionate care and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient values, clinical expertise, and recent research to restore and promote overall health, well-being, and comfort.
Hi! I’m Monica Vandervoort PT, DPT.
I’m a physical therapist specializing in pelvic health for all genders—specifically pelvic floor and lumbopelvic girdle dysfunction. I am a Board Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist.
Dr. Monica Vandervoort founded Summus Rehabilitation so that she could prioritize the patient relationship and provide contextualized instruction on their unique journey to healing and wellness.
One of the best parts of her job is learning about my patients’ stories. Seeking help and treatment can be a vulnerable experience, and she is honored every time a patient trusts her to help them work through their symptoms and pain. Monica’s goal is for every individual to feel seen and heard when they enter her treatment space , and to leave feeling educated about their body, the underlying cause of their symptoms, and sustainable treatment strategies for any longterm needs.
When she is not in the clinic, she loves to cook, participate in triathlons, hike, travel, read, and spend time with her pup (Clifton), toddler, and husband!
Monica looks forward to meeting you and helping you in your journey to the summit.
Hi! I’m Isha Kelkar PT, DPT.
My name is Isha Kelkar (she/her), and I am a physical therapist specializing in pelvic health! I also find joy in treating complex hip and back conditions as well. I am currently working towards my Women’s Health Clinical Specialist Board Certification.
Isha Kelkar loves physical therapy as a tool to help people make sense of, understand, and manage their pain. As a PT specializing in pelvic health, she has a passion for helping those who feel lost or stuck with pelvic pain or leakage. Her treatment approach is to meet patients exactly where they are and help guide them to where they want to go. She does this by creating a welcoming space and tailoring treatment sessions to help patients get back to activities they enjoy confidently. Isha’s strives to always to create a treatment space where patients feel listened to and cared for as their true, authentic selves, and to help patients find strategies to feel in control of their symptoms.
When Isha is not in the clinic, she takes dance classes, reads, knits, and spends time with her husband and friends. She looks forward to meeting you!
Summus Rehabilitation aims to be the leading physical therapy clinic in the Denver Metropolitan area through providing the highest quality of care and developing a sustainable partnership with patients so they may live a healthy and active life.
